Arrange two separate parts of the arrival
Airline assistance covers the arrangements made with your airline inside the airport journey. Your booked ground transport starts at its agreed meeting point. Tell each team about the other so that you know who will accompany you through the handover.
Give the transfer team useful vehicle information
Explain whether you will remain in your wheelchair or transfer to a passenger seat. Provide the chair’s overall width and length, occupied height and relevant loading information. Count companions, suitcases and any additional scooter or care equipment. A vehicle’s seat count is not the number of wheelchair positions it can carry.
Use the exact resort and terminal details
Send the flight number, date and destination property shown on your booking. Similar hotel names can refer to different receptions or resorts. Ask for the meeting instructions and contact method in advance, then keep an offline copy in case your phone has no connection on arrival.
Coordinate rental delivery around check-in
If a mobility rental is being delivered to your hotel, arrange any required authorization in advance. Handover is at the lobby if entry is permitted, or at the security gate if it is not. Reception can receive the item before you arrive only by prior agreement with the hotel and our team. Do not plan to use that item at the airport unless an airport handover has been explicitly agreed. The delivery guide explains the information needed.
Reserve the return journey while the details are available
For departure, share the flight time and ask for the pickup arrangement appropriate to the route and required airport procedures. Advise the team if your flight or accommodation changes. Start with wheelchair-accessible airport transport to review your journey.
